Dang, SukMyDigg... that was one of the most accurate and bluntly honest ways to put the conundrum Digg (with two G's) has got itself in.

From the post, "Well, listen up Kevin, I’m not gonna sit around wasting all my damn time finger-fucking your website for nothing. I don’t make any money off of my ads (31 dollars since November of last year). No one makes any money off of the traffic that your website provides (Diggers do not click on ads, it is common knowledge), which is why your site’s value is bogus. Its value is inflated and its community has no substance. Once praised as a voice of the online world, it is nothing more than a whittled and watered down forum full of the illiterate and childish."

Put that way, it is quite funny when Digg pretends people are trying to game the system to make money. SukMyDigg is right on about the lack of conversions Digg traffic creates in ad clicks. Really the conversions on Adsense are pretty flat across the board from any traffic these days. Even 70 year old Internet surfers have come to know what an Adsense ad is and often times avoid them.

Intresting article - but I know from experience that I need to temper my emotions before reacting/acting. They're a helpful guide but when they are wrong they can be really wrong! :-)

Useless if you are not living in the US. When will TV Networks understand that the internet is INTERNATIONAL.
