These public toilets are just plain nasty. It's basically a big box of urine & feces with a door with no ventilation. Could you think of anything worse? Well, the city of Seattle tried to do something about improving public bathrooms & guess what happened

  1. heh. I remember I used to see one of those fairly often when I lived in Seattle. You knew it would just turn into a homeless shelter, but with all the stores in that area refusing use of their bathrooms to the homeless... it's an understandable attempt to solve a problem.

  2. What's even worse is it took the Seattle city council TEN YEARS to decide and buy these tech toilets. They could not have put them in the worst possible places in the city. Capitol Hill = Heroin Hill.

    Seattle has a very serious homelessness and street drug problem they are not dealing with.

    The mayor has old hotels designated for homeless drunks to drink in. A slow death by drinking is not anyway to treat people. They should do community service in trade for board and treatment at least!
