   FTA: ....Another case springs to mind which is: In the aftermath of 11 September 2001, the Taliban, quite correctly of course— refused to hand anyone over to the US in the absence of credible evidence that anyone on Afghan soil was involved.

   Can I ask, what's wrong with this?

      I guess you find that very difficult to fathom and as well, to compare it to an issue

      The point I am trying to make is: The government of Aghanistan, the Taleban, simply requested evidence that Osama bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 before they hand him over. They were given none. In fact, the entire world has been given none. At the time Donald Rumsfeld used to rant about secret military complexes built in the Tora Bora mountains and the like but none of that has been proven. In fact, that claim has been proven to be nothing but mythology, the kind of tripe the same man chanted about Russia during the cold war.

      The U.S should have cooperated with the Taleban and provided evidence that Bin Laden did 9/11, then perhaps the Taleban would have sided with the U.S. Can you imagine another country asking for the Bush administration to hand over Richard Perle or Donald Rumsfeld for some atrocity committed in their land without providing evidence??

      I'm pretty sure the only video allegedly showing Bin Laden claiming 9/11 has been proven to be false. The man in the video was an actor, and he was wearing a gold ring. Gold is forbidden to be worn by Muslim men - something I assume a self-righteous Bin Laden wouldn't do.

      When I said self-righteous I meant he is someone who considers himself to be righteous - therefore he would not wear a gold ring. I think, for a greater understanding of 9/11 we need to see who benefitted the most.

      Bin Laden is wanted for other terrorist crimes besides 9/11. The Taliban know this.

       Claiming to be self-righteous does not mean the same thing as claiming somebody to be righteous. It certainly does not make someone a terrorist supporter. As you claim:

       Personally if I was Zecchetti I'd have had that comment removed. It is to his own compliment that he leaves it for all to see to show your colours.

       I have no doubt, if requested, it would be removed.

       The videos raise questions, but provides no proof either way. The fact that the Bin Laden in the video writes with his right hand doesn't mean he isn't left handed.

       I'm having doubts about the ring. I'm going to take the ring as a wild conspiracy theory rumor until I see the footage.

       In either case, Bin Laden is responsible for killing many civilians. The Taliban should have turned him over, and I don't think they would have turned him over even if there was proof.
