  1. I caught the tail-end of this, because as most of you know, I'm a social media addict and try to keep up on the latest SM news. But it was very disappointing. Kevin and Jay seemed more interested in discussing what Jay was drinking rather than focusing on the needs of the users.

I guess this is further evidence, in my mind anyway, that Mixx is ahead of the ballgame of social media is concerned. They put the users first; and a lot of the stuff that they said Digg was "working on" is stuff we already have here.

I found that disappointing myself that they spent 'valuable' time of the 45 minutes they were giving us on an exchange of soft drinks.

The one positive thing that came from it is that they SAY they do intend to create a forum of some sort before year end. But that's leaving a helluva lot of leeway for time, if it does happen.

  3. So I watched the recording, and if Kevin and Jay might ever read this, YOU OWE ME 45 MINUTES OF MY LIFE BACK!! So far this is the second Digg town hall I have witnessed and both have been completely unproductive. Here is what I gathered :"Well we are working on that feature. We do not have tentative release dates yet but I PROMISE, it is coming soon." Seriously another disappointment. I have to quote my good friend Greg Davies: "Thank Christ I am at Mixx!" Mixx listens to the community and INTERACTS!
