  2. There was a story in Time or something once where they interviewed the Dalai Lama and brain scanned him or one of his guys, the areas of the brain associated with what they were meditating on (compassion or something) was significantly bigger.

  3. True meditation is more difficult to do than it looks, but when done correctly, I believe that it can alter your brain structure.
