  1. ►"WE RECOGNISE IRAN'S RIGHTS UNDER THE INTERNATIONAL TREATIES TO WHICH IT IS SIGNATORY"
......that'll be article 4 of the NPT which states Iran has a right to enrich.

►"REAFFIRMATION OF IRAN'S RIGHT TO NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR EXCLUSIVELY PEACEFUL PURPOSES IN CONFORMITY WITH ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE NPT"
......Which it has been keeping to. The IAEA still state that they have not seen any evidence of an active nuclear weapons programme.

Kicking war in the bollocks. I'm lovin' it. Of course I don't think the Neocons are done yet. But damn, selling your war just got a lot harder!!!

  2. "Kicking war in the bollocks"

That should be the new anti war movements/groups/communities motto ;-)

Doesn't translate well in French unfortunately, so a traditional "bras d'honneur"
will have to do, I'm afraid :-)

Good find by the way :-)

  4. Aren't UK and the US supposed to be "allies"? Oh, wait. There was that whole "dumping perfectly good tea into Boston Harbor" 235 years ago. LOL.

  5. I don't see Israel's FM as a signatory....

But yeah, after this, if there is still a bombing campaign, then you might as well tear up the NPT treaty

No. I submitted the article in its entireity - those bits included. But if you read it...the actual offer. They say that they recognise that right to enrich.....AND THAT THEY WOULD RESPECT THAT RIGHT IF IRAN STOPPED ENRICHING FOR 6 WEEKS

    - BUT THAT THE WHOLE THING WAS UP FOR NEGOTIATION before formal negotiations of the content took place - they even said "Iran is, of course, free to suggest its own proposals" !!!!

That'll be your lack of comprehension again.....READ THE ARTICLE!!!
Facts are Iran has the right to enrich under article 4 of the NPT and the signatories have identified this right (exactly what the title/comment says!!!) Attack Iran and it will destroy the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

This is a viewpoint echoed by international strategic institutions, defence colleges and Joint Chiefs!!! Attack Iran and actively create proliferation.

IT IS KICKING WAR IN THE BOLLOCKS. The signatories might not want to respect Iran's right to enrich but they are obliged to recognise it through the NPT. Oh.....and they are beginning the informal negotiation process now. Yippee- Ki-Yay war-agenda types!!!

    N.B.
I am able to provide the actual article - those who disagree must submit an article that reports on the original.

LOL! How can I take it out of context when I link directly to it????

If I were taking it out of context I wouldn't be constantly telling you to READ THE ARTICLE and don't submit BLOGSPAM about something another source said....LINK THE SOURCE DIRECTLY!

As it is this is a copy of the letter in its entirety hosted on the IAEA website and a link is provided (you just have to click on the blue writing).
