  • Joseph Shereshevsky and Steven Byers are accused by the Securities And Exchange Commission of knowingly or recklessly making false and material misrepresentations to investors about various investment offerings, the uses of investment monies and diversions to pay investors in prior offerings and to pay the operating expenses of the various Wextrust Entities.

    Records from Defendant Wextrust Securities reveal that the Defendants transferred more than $100 million between entities. A combined balance sheet circulated by email on May 3,2008, from Wextrust’s comptroller to Byers, shows “liabilities” of Wextrust as of year end 2007. The balance sheet lists 45 “loans”, totaling more than $74 million that were made by LLC entities that had recently raised money in private placements to other LLC entities that were in need of cash.

    Shereshevsky, Byers and Defendant Wextrust Entities conducted at. least 60 securities offerings and raised at least $255 million from at least 1,196 investors. Most of these offerings occurred between 2005 and 2008, although at least four offerings occurred as early as 2002.

  • HOKE admitted that on May 7, 2007, she robbed the Wachovia Bank, 845 Mesa Drive, in Austin, Tex. She used a note and made oral demands, to include a threat to the life of the teller. Additionally, she admitted that on May 23, 2007, she robbed the Wells Fargo Bank, 2000

    Douglas Blvd., in Roseville, Calif., and that on May 30, 2007, she robbed the First Heritage Bank, 19009 33rd Avenue West, in Lynnwood, Wash. After she committed the three robberies, she fled the United States and was later arrested in Thailand. Altogether, she obtained nearly $15,000.

    A day on death row begins at 6 a.m. Prisoners are allowed to shower three times per week. “We’re permitted 10 minutes under the water,” one inmate said.

    “Upon returning to your cell, you may then shave. You are provided a disposable razor, one for all 20 men. Pity the last few men. Now you can understand why some men have grown a beard.”

    Beside convicted killers, death row is home to “troublemakers from the general population. They are very disruptive. They flood their cells and the water comes down on us. They’re very rowdy. Several are homosexuals. We’re bombarded by loud, obscene, filthy language.”

    Food was described as “not all that bad. It is a balanced meal. Considering the number of men served, the cooks really do an excellent job,” an inmate said.

    Television restrictions have been eased. Inmates are now allowed access to psychological and social worker services, correspondence education courses and the privilege of borrowing up to three books from the prison’s law library.

    “Thursdays are laundry day. Your sheets go to the laundry—or should I say sheet; one is all we now have.

    “Each man is permitted out of his cell for one hour, twice a week. This is the only time you’re out, except for the time in the shower.” If it is cold or foggy outside, they must exercise in the cell block.

    Residents of death row spend their time reading books and magazines, writing letters, reading and re-reading letters from their wives and sweethearts, children and relatives.

    Visitors are spoken to through a steel and glass cage with a small opening. Touching is prohibited. The prisoners are strip-searched before and after each meeting, as well as being handcuffed during the visitation.

    State officials have defended these restrictions for security reasons. “Our rules and regulations are fair,” a spokesman for the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, said.

  • i honestly think that stoners wouldnt kill someone for marijuana - yeah there are always a few crazy ones who authorities blame pot but truthfully they were on 10 other types of medication pills (perscribed or not) that made them freak out and murder that cow...what? they were hungry..coulda just wend down to the local McDees though...lol..

  • They are still far away from reality, because the government has been constantly changing rules of police crime reporting and they'd also changed classification of crimes, as well...

    As to who uses "biased" sources you are hardly the one to point fingers. Be that as it may, the sourcing produced two of the actual documents--non redacted--that are both the Hamas and Fatah charters calling for Israel's destruction.

    The Charters and Covenants have not been altered. If you have a source that has a different P.L.O. and/or Hamas document produce it.

    You won't find one.

    Further, it takes two for peace. One for war. Your mantra and ad-homonym attacks that Israel is responsible for this conflict, is unsubstantiated and debunked when I have proved with evidence that the Arabs don't want peace and want to destroy Israel and remove them from their lands of Israel.

    While Israel has shown a willingness to split the lands for an Arab Palestinian state, look up the Wye agreements, the Oslo accords, and creation of the P.A., and you'll find that the facts don't add that the Israelis don't want a two state solution. The Arab and Islamic world doesn't.

    Furthermore, Ehud Barak under Clinton's Camp David's peace negotiations between him, Arafat, and Barak, offered the West Bank, Gaza, and to split Jerusalem.

    It is universally recognized that Arafat rejected this generous offer for Palestinian self-determination, started a vicious and terrorist war crime terror spree against Israeli civilians and pissed on Israel, the U.S.A., and the world.

    There is no way you can argue against these facts, laws, agreements, and history.
