@note2self Which one? BB? I thought it was good, but I think I enjoyed SR more. I don't think I will ever enjoy the Batman movies as much as most people because I am way too critical of them. I really enjoyed SR, on the other hand, just like I loved the first two Christopher Reeve movies.

I think a massive flow of comic book movies would be great if Hollywood could be trusted to not start making 4th rate recycles of poorly written tripe. The reality is that this will not be a flood of Dark Knight & Hellboy II level movies. Instead we will get rushed CGI that runs this type of movie into the ground so the pencil pushers can say it's not worth doing for another decade or so.

The recent comic book based films are quite a departure from the usual loosely-based-on-comic-book track that Hollywood has taken. I would really like to see *proper* renditions of Judge Dredd and Constantine. A film rendition of "Coyote" would be awesome too!

Marlon Brando as Jor-El wasn't a mistake though..

When the first movie Superman was made, Christopher Reeve wasn't famous
enough yet to carry the movie on his shoulders...
