John McCain may be computer illiterate, but it appears that some of his supporters are not technophobic Luddites. At Digg, several stories critical of McCain or Palin has been flagged with the disclaimer: "Reported by Diggers as Possibly Inaccurate."

So it seems like a natural thing to just lob stories at a blogger, because more often than not, they’re going to be receptive, will run the bit if it fits their readership (viewership), and everyone wins, right? Some differences.

Ubuntu coverage in Newsday, the United States' eight largest paper, shows that Linux adopters aren't necessarily geeks. In fact, more and more Ubuntu users apparently live on Main Street U.S.A.
