Today Nortel announced its acquisition of Pingtel, an Open Source telephone system company. I'd say this is some pretty big freakin news for OS VoIP... it's BIG.. it's HUGE.. it's really BIG.. and here's why.

This is a question I hear constantly and the answer typically relies on three things - cost, business size, and required functionality. Great article which outlines a perspective from an Open Source standpoint.
