My name is Nick and I was born in the beautiful but scarily fundamental state of Alabama, raised in the great state of Texas (Houston), and went to Boulder, Colorado to major in veterinary medicine; turns out I was better suited for prison and wound up spending 3 years and 4 months tucked away 14,000 feet above sea-level in the Rocky mountains. Since being released I returned to Alabama for college--it was English and Business rather than animals after the whole prison ordeal--and again find myself back in Texas, this time the Hill Country as they call it.

I stay busy raising my two year old son, writing, bookmarking, and maintaining an estate of my mother's. Say what you want about me, but while I was in prison my mom built a little oil empire of sorts. As soon as one of her projects sell I won't have to worry about the stigma of my felony conviction and will be testing my hand at flipping houses and a few other idea's I've worked up. Momma's boy? Yes. However, the only reason I went to prison is because I haven't always been one. I'd say it's better to be a momma's boy and raising my son than shoveling shit and missing out on some of the greatest moments in his life.
