Ron Paul is not running anymore. Well, he is, but for the Republican nomination, which he has no chance of getting anymore. I supported him and I like him a lot better than Barr, but Barr is the best we are left with.
Baldwin is a protectionist. Protectionism is the antithesis of freedom. He's more of a populist or a nationalist.
Barr has recanted all or most of his un-libertarian positions and even apologized for them. I think he is sincere now and he will get us out of Iraq and restore civil liberties if he's elected. Those are big. I'm not so sure the other candidates will do that, at least not Obama or McCain.
