I'm Dutch but I've been writing in English for more than two decades now. Most of the year, I live and work in Holland but I spend about three months each year in Prague, where I also have a room.
In Holland I work in a hotel for the homeless; in Prague I work as a pub cook.My favourite animal is what is laughingly described as the 'domestic' cat - probably because they are antisocial, set in their ways and highly opinionated. I can relate to that.

@loup.dargent Yessss... Which is why I like my cabbies as quiet as humanly possible.
Anyway, I'm not paying them to entertain me. What's with this weird idea anyway that we need entertainment always & everywhere? People making small talk, or some bloody Muzak while they put us on hold...
As if silence is something to be dreaded. I like silence.
