Of the many updates Microsoft released today, 5 applied to Vista and it's built in components. They also released an update containing 'Kill Bits' to deactivate problem Active X controls.

Ed suggests that a June 3rd release to manufacturing is a realistic date, and that the Windows Vista to Windows 7 upgrade is similar to the Windows 2000 to Windows XP upgrade. I would agree.
