Chromium is an open-source web browser that has been released by Google under the BSD license. Google's Chrome, is built from the Chromium code but unlike Chrome, Chromium is actually open-source and not built around google services or include an EULA.

Sun is acquiring MySQL. This is a big positive step for MySQL and Sun and could mean greater use of this database in enterprise IT and more financial security to MySQL.
