It's been a while since I've taken a stroll at the kampungs. So, just the other day, I took some time off and took a not too far away drive to visit a kampung and its surroundings.

Malaysia has already officially celebrated its National Day/ Merdeka this 31 August.But another important date for Malaysia is this 16 September - also known as Malaysia Day - the day when Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak & Singapore come together.

A change of mindset sees me seeing the country and its people differently.

The expensive but must try round cakes... especially this most prized one: the champagne mooncakes! What a sinful indulgence, but hey, it's only once a year!

The music seems upbeat... but listen to the lyrics, and what a bagful of emotions can just flow.
