When what you thought what was left of your humanity, turns to be the rose I've been talking to for several hours, you'll wonder how it came to be, that love was the very thing you sought to be.
I am who I am as much as I am who I am not.

LucasArts and BioWare building KOTOR MMO - Joystiq

Somehow, when I think of this, I see an entire MMO world populated by Jedi (or Sith) where all the noobs simply get force pushed and/or choked for the first 30 hours of their online existence.

There's a joke in here somewhere.... hmmm..... uhhh huhhh... Actually, this is completely not funny at all, and it is impossible to construe it to be funny in any manner whatsoever.

49% Say Government Should Regulate Internet

It should be noted that the survey in this article is absolute garbage. It is a perfect example of how surveys can be structured to give out a specific answer. What should be a crime is making a business doing that sort of thing and then using it to further your political agenda.

Cellphone Popcorn Trick Revealed
- view video
Bah, I pointed this out a while ago how the phones could not emit enough energy to cook the popcorn. Unfortunately, it seems the post was deleted along with the full explanation.
This reminds me of story an older gentleman once told me about his job at a fast food joint in his younger years. When they first started using a microwave, they never bothered to close the door to the microwave. Yep, just left it wide open. Eventually, the microwave broke down and the tech came to fix it. He told them to never ever cook food with the door open because it can cause sterility. After they heard this, somehow they always remembered to shut the door to the microwave.

Will $4 Gasoline Trump a 27-Year-Old Ban on Drilling?

@pleeker It takes about 10 years to go from the opening of an oil field to actual production output. In other words, this is a more long term plan. Environmental aspects aside, I don't see how trying to pass legislation that will be a drop in the bucket, especially ten years from now, will help in any way.
