This is interesting. You may want to consider bookmarking it and refer to it often. As the election gets closer I know I will.

'Shack' opens doors, but critics call book 'scripturally incorrect' - USATODAY.com

I am not all that religious but I read this book and really enjoyed it. I immediately went out and bought it on CD. It does have a lot about God in it but it is just a book to read for entertainment. It is fiction, not non-fiction. If I wanted to know more about God/religion I would read something else.

Half-ton woman indicted in slaying of nephew, 2

@jasonc
Do you have anymore ideas? Slapping a monitoring bracelet on her would not be a punishment. She is homebound and bedridden. I think someone should do to her what she did to her nephew.

They certainly do have some unusual names for their foods. I can see why they would want to change them for the Olympic visitors.

Emergency waits get dangerously long in US -study
- 8 months ago
- view story
We recently had to go to the emergency room four times in one month. (The doctors recognized us. It was very embarassing). My husband was seen immediatly three times. We went at different times each time and there was no one else waiting. We were amazed. Then it was my turn. It took them a least an hour to assess me. Four more hours to take me back to be treated. They moved my bed into a hall after I had been there less than five minutes. Someone with a heart problem was coming in by ambulance. Oftern times it does take hours, many hours, to receive care in an emergency room. I think we need to remember they are not just taking care of people in the emergency room but people we don't know about or see. These are the people that come in by ambulance. I have been to the emergency room many times with many elderly relatives, and my immediate family. Yes, sometimes the wait has been too long but I think they do the best they can.
