  1. It's not just an audio player: It's an audio player that has killed my iPod so many times, each time requiring me to use the "Restore" function from iTunes.

    perhaps this new version will works better,
    However I don't think it's so easy to write drivers for strictly closed-source hardware...

  3. @Luigihbomb A valid point. But at this time I don't want to take another chance with my iPod by syncing it using Banshee. To be fair to the Banshee project, I have also had iTunes corrupting my iPod shuffle. Talking about the 2nd Gen iPod shuffle btw. I have not tried syncing my 3rd Gen iPod nano using Banshee though, don't want to take that risk as it's still shiny and new :)
