    4. In botanical terms a strawberry isn't a fruit. Technically it is a droop on account of its seeds being on the outside. I know, it's sad that I know that but there you have it.
    6. "Only three words in Standard English begin with the letters 'dw' and they are all common words." Well there are at least four: dwine. Dwindle, one of the three, was derived from dwine....but dwine is still a word - even if it has been languishing as of late.
    8. My local supermarket processes lettuce. It cuts it and washes it and wraps it and mixes it all up with loads of other types of leaft things. They call it a mixed salad. It is also often used in prewrapped sandwiches at the airport and in motorway service stations. It is seldom fresh.
