   Maybe you don't want to hear what I think, but I think the olympics in general are a waste of time. What's the point anyway? Just a bunch of people on drugs playing sports. I can just go to school and see that.

   it's even worse!

   very, very few people could possibly believe that Tibetan Monks are anything less than peaceful, they are the MOST PEACEFUL and BEAUTIFUL people on the planet, without doubt, and really should be transformed into large baleen whales in times 1000s of years before the present, to be fair. Baleen whales being very peaceful.

   can't you just feel "a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."

   i'm not kidding when i say i'm nearly in tears upon contemplation of this. truly..

   thanks for all the kind words, but i actually do the occasional blind vote, if its someone like you or SilentJay or Albionshores or diffee or doubledown or gCt or jansie ...i.e. someone who i respect and like (only if the topic is of interest, though). so i'm not perfect, but i usually try to read at least the first paragraph.

   i'm a hyper dude who drinks a quadruple green tea and goes to town on Mixx. i read my news, with the Mixx in another window, in fact. i really value this as a chance to share and also to spread messages of peace and understanding and cannibals and cannibus and whatever i want, and it makes me happy to be part.

   i don't know much about MixxingBowl, but i do listen to Social Blend from time to time, and i guess you could give me some rights if you want! but that doesn't mean i'll be that active still.

   or not.

   this is way off topic, people in Tibet are getting killed.

   My sentiments exactly. I was watching GMA this morning and they showed a monk receiving a call about 2 other monks that had been beaten with batons in the head. It was later found that one of them was killed,

    @calinazaret Ditto. And I don't see why they bother to test for performance enhancing drugs when everyone is using them. If the athletes want to use them, let them use the drugs. Heck let them all use drugs to level the playing field for everyone. It's certainly not sporting to see juiced up athletes outperform the ones who are drug-free. Let the best performance enhancing drug win!
