[4] And the people stood in wonder and some in doubt and they called out, "Where is this room you speak of great Albion?" and Albion respondedeth, "Why it is a group called 'Flame Wars', knock and the door shall be opened unto you! [5] "From here on forth any such Digg quarrels and you shalt say, 'Go now brother or sister to the room that is prepared for you, go to the MIXX GROUP CALLED 'FLAME WARS' and stop spamming the Mixx board and turning it into the great adversary. [6] For Albion had already kicked their collective authoritarian asses on Digg and was not afraid. To this the people said, "Truly Albion has always been fair and honest but how is Albion to be trusted to be fair in the future if he is an administrator, wouldn't that make him a pseudo authoritarian figure in the group?"

    [7] And the Albion responded in perfect verse, "Fair comment......tell you what, we'll let the SocialBlend Guys be the admins and I'll renounce my administratorship. Set up a thread on the Mixxing Bowl to discuss all the kick offs and let's stop these Digg-esque tendancies once and for all. If you've got a problem. Take it to the group."

    @gbarberi you peak at the election subcategories, things like that?

    Digg remains useful, although i don't have an account. it was hard to get rid of my account...i had to post pr0n and then (finally after a few months) someone reported it and they deleted me. thankfully.

    Digg's front page has been on a downward slide for maybe 6 months, or longer. i've watched it and still do about once a week.

    I watch Friend's submissions, then their upcoming digging activity. Finally, I keep a tab open with the Digg spy open. I watch the submissions as they come in. You wouldn't believe how much of the 10,000 daily submission that Digg gets is crap.

    good idea i guess....but the nature of flames are hard to control, you must admit.
