It's getting terrible over there. Intelligent discussion is decreasing. Users from a certain chan are increasing. The whole thing is going down the tube.

The "Top" diggers are still able to monopolize the front page, but the middle ones that supplied a variety of content are unable to get the 200 requirement without gaming. Some of us do not wish to game, and thus welcome to mixx.

@JiveMasterT The thing is there are a lot of Digg refugees that came from Digg to Mixx. We think it is funny the Digg revolt happened for the same reasons we ended up at Mixx in the first place. Don't worry dude it will die down soon.

@joefowler3 Yeah I understand that but it just seems like there is more digg news than regular news some times. I saw this once before when the members of WRXModders left WRXTuners due to grievances with the staff there was a bit of that as well but it's getting to be like enough is enough.

The thing is, digg may lose its top diggers but there will be no shortage of news posted. Kevin knows this and is either going to say "You know what, you're right - we'll re-work things a bit and fix it so it's more fair." or he'll say "Too bad."

I guess I will just wait for it to die down. I'm sure Kevin loves the publicity though :P

During the revolt last night an Emergency Episode of The Drill Down went live. It is a podcast hosted by Top Diggers. I was on it with them. I jumped off the broadcast after they heard my thoughts and about 30 minutes later Jay Adelson and Kevin Rose came on the podcast and actually said they will work with everyone to fix some of the problems. It was a crazy night.

Without a doubt, Kevin is quite intelligent and very business savvy. I am also wanting to see what decisions he makes. As far as Kevin looking like a Walmart worker, that was just another smart ass remark. Hell if you went by looks Bill Gates should be working at Staples selling pens. Hopefully Kevin works something out soon that will appease most of the Digg users. That is going to be a monumental task, even for Kevin.
