Shoutwire.com Serving Up Trojan Javascript

fvrit.com — Early yesterday morning I was browsing shoutwire.com and OneCare notified me of two Trojan JavaScript's that tried to run. I closed the browser, let OneCare clean them and didn't think a lot about it.

  2. @jansie I can remember back years ago (very early 90's) that such things were never heard of and many people left their FTP sites wide open. Open door policy, now it is lock it down ASAP or be taken over by the bad guys.

    @jansie LOL, I iwll be 43 in December, I actually mucked around on ArpaNet (predecessor to the Internet), all command line (email, ftp, gopher, archie, veronica, etc). A lot different today. No web browsers back then all DOS programs.

    @allen_mvp archie, veronica? while you were playing with them, i was reading their comics. loved archie comics. to this day i cannot say why. maybe it was the cool american merchandise they always advertised in it. the latest nintendos. the cool bubblegum. then there was jughead. what a hero! man, loved those comics.
