good news if they don't start censoring like on Digg. money is never purely a good thing, i think we all can agree. money comes with strings.

but i've already seen some hiccups so i suppose they need a few more blades in the server room. i'm really pulling for Mixx, and i hope the founders can achieve a balance that is elusive for many...

if this "experiment" doesn't work, it's gonna be time for an open-source solution, and i've been thinking of writing one for some time.

Old article discussing the cons of Digg. It's interesting how many of the suggestions are still relevant today and none of the suggestions after having been implemented in some way by some site still doesn't solve the community problem at all.
