  1. POPPMusic.net Salutes the Love Parade techno music festival. Over 1.6 million music lovers gathered and danced in the streets of the western German city of Dortmund on July 19, 2008. The music played at The Love Parade is predominantly electronic dance music: trance, house and techno music that was blasted from over 37 colorful floats from 15 countries. There were 250 DJs mixing as part of the parade march. The Love Parade is staged under the banner of, “Highway of Love” and started as the Berlin Love Parade in 1989.
