   The article seems to seriously doubt the video, but their main evidence for it being fake is the puppy not moving. I don't know if it's the same with dogs, but when you hold a kitten up by the scruff of the neck it makes no sound and curls up just like that puppy did.

   I love dogs, and know them well. That dog was real. I'd never watch it again to deconstruct it, but I know the difference. My dog is three years old, but I still pick her up by the scruff of her neck when she's being stubborn and won't come in the bedroom. She just hangs there like the puppy in question, happy as can be, without a noise. Actually, it's funny, because she's 30 pounds. Not a dog you'd imagine to see being carried around by her scruff. But, I've been doing it since she was a baby, and it just stuck.
