My friend's band, Withheld. They have a really good sound, with a female lead. Check out Crooked Zen, it's my favorite.

    It does remind me of a touch of Evanescence... maybe in the vocals; but the rest of it is pure hard rock, and I love it. Oh by the way, if you like Evanescence, you really should listen to Lacuna Coil. Evanescence pretty much ripped them off, and they're way better anyway!

    I'll have to forward this link to Noah (lead guitar); I work with the guy. They played Whisky A Go Go in LA like a year ago and were asked back for some dates coming up. They get some air play around here and are quite well received here in the DFW area.
