  1. This is crap, if you haven't shown up for basic training, they have no legal recourse. All you have to do is state that you changed your mind about joining, and do not wish to be contacted any further. They are bound by law to leave you alone. Not saying they follow the law, just that it protects those who change their mind before they've been sworn in at basic.

  3. There is a great documentary on HBO that covers this. Its called THE RECRUITER. Very interesting. These recruiters really manipulate. The Recruiters themselves for the most part are totally brainwashed and living in a fantasy world...OR sociopathic.
