  2. I gave up my mobile phone - or 'cellular', as they call them here - when I moved to Mexico. I've never looked back, ignoring the nags of family and friends.

  3. Most people are too comfortable with their ignorant lives to believe this.
The will continue to live their lives like useful idiots just because paid scientists tell them to.

Wireless internet and cell phones now operate at microwave frequency; they ARE microwaves.

  6. Can the scientific community come up with a consensus on this before I fry my brain? My only phone is a cell, and I don't think a brain tumor would fit in with my plans of not dying.

Its not only the type of wave that matters, its also its frequency and power. You can sit next to low power microwaves all day long and not get so much as a skin rash. The fact that people are blowing this type of stuff out of proportion is what irks the shit out of me. You receive more harmful radiation from the concrete in an office building than you do from a cellphone. You reiceve substantially more radiation from the Sun than you do from your cell phone. I'm not saying that cell phones don't emit radiation, but there are other sources that are worse.

As far as the credibility of this goes. Just because someone is an 'award-winning cancer expert ' doesn't mean dick. Remember the guy who was the leading cloner in S. Korea, well his researched turned out to be fake and manufactured. The fact that these tumors take so long to develop could mean that the contributing factors could number in the dozens and singling out cellphones as the direct causes isn't very scientific.

smoking cell phones is not all it's cracked up to be. sure, you'll catch a little buzz, but it turns into a massive headache before you can even really enjoy it. not for me....
