You know about the new 15-minute edit window, but Mixx rolled out a few other upgrades today, too. And it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

    "See More from this Mixxer"

    This feature is used to combat cloggers. If you self-submit alot from the same site in a small time window, rather than ever submission fill the recent tab, it bundles your submissions so that only one (your most recent I believe) of your submissions from the same site appear and the message appears.

    One huge problem has been cloggers, they'll submit 20-50 submissions in less than 30 minutes or so and fill the site with crap/spam basically.

    "New Photo Scroller Display"

    That was actually what tipped me off yesterday morning that the site was upgraded. I think that was the first upgrade I saw.

    "15-Minute Edit Window"

    To extend that, not sure if you've seen the delete comment in action, but even though you can delete a comment, the fact that you left one remains, just in case anyone wants to "rewrite history".

  3. mixx has got some competitive advantages already, adding more tech-driven features would obviously help build this community spirit here.

  6. Great upgrades I love all of them. Mixx will be perfect in my mind when they add spell check and emoticons! But mainly spell check...Please.

    We actually have thought about spell checking but since the major browsers either have it or are in the process of adding it, we decided to focus our development efforts on creating more and more cool features for everyone to enjoy (not that spell checking is not a cool feature, it is). Keep the suggestions coming though, we love to hear what you all are thinking and would like to see.

    Its there, its on the Recent tab and if someone submits from the same url in rapid succession, it appears.

    Thank you. I found it on the group pages which I don't hit that often. I look at my groups from the your mixx page which lists posts in the short form.
