blogs.computerworld.com — Nielsen reports today that more than 20 million U.S. households use cell phones only, and don't use a landline. The number is growing, and especially among lower-income families.

  1. My wife and I each have our cellphones of course, but we also keep a dedicated fax (yes fax) line, a dedicated DSL line and two regular land lines. I guess I'm just old fashioned but I'll take a land line over a cell phone anyday.

  2. I almost went for a landline. Cox communications would do it for $1.00 more since they already provide my internet and cable. But then I thought to myself " a landline, what do I need that for?"
