   I can imagine Palin's statement now: "I didn't break the law, I just abused it. And I'm going to abuse Washington when we're elected!" That's just what we need, another administration abusing their power to get their selfish way.

   I'm surprised CNN is releasing this statement that Palin didn't break the law, yet MSNBC is stating that she was found to have acted "unlawfully". The latter would suggest criminal proceedings will (might) follow.

   It doesn't surprise me she's been found to have abused her office, considering how abusive she's been the last six weeks. I suspect she's been like that all her life.

   More than that, goodbye Sarah and John. It was terrible while it lasted.

   "I conclude that such claims of fear were not bona fide and were offered to provide cover for the Palins' real motivation: to get Trooper Wooten fired for personal family reasons,"

   Now if she would do this in a scarcley popoulated state what would she do if in higher office.
   Palin terrorized the tropper's family and life by targeting his livelyhood, exactly what the 9/11 terrorist tried to do to all of us.

    This report shows how the Obama machine has operated, even in Alaska.. One needs to know that Obama's partisan has exerted dominant influence on this case. The investigation was not at all independent. Investigator Steven Branchflower admitted he had ceded control of his subpoena list to Sen. Hollis French (D.), who is a strong Obama supporter. It is really fearful that Obama's dark current would soon sweep the whole US, just like the Red Guards terrorizing China during the Great Cultural Revolution .

       @abchen Obama really is "the next coming", because he arranged to have a bi-partisan investigation against Palin BEFORE she was nominated for the Republican VP. Wow. He really is sneaky.
       Let's not forget Palin herself asked the Attorney General of Alaska to investigate these allegations (separate from state congress), and when he decided that there was evidence of her malfeasance (and turned it over to state congress), then she said it was a partisan attack and that the state legislature had no right to investigate these allegations- it should be a state personnel decision. Remember Elaine of Seinfeld when she was President of Peterson and she got caught making improper purchases from the company accounts by the General Auditor? “I am President of the company. Can’t I fire you?” “...No, it doesn’t work that way…”

    Yet again, CNN shows it's bias and it's viewers show theirs. As usual, you lovely liberals don't take the time to read or publish the whole story. Read the whole report and not just the biased article and you will find the following "Ethics inquiry concludes Palin was 'proper and lawful' in firing a state commissioner but failed to keep her husband from meddling in trooper's discipline". Oh yeah and while you are at it, why don't you explain your saviour Obama's contributions to ACORN.

       @bmtking Obama stopped contributing to Acorn almost a year ago. Also, it is not beyond Republicans to falsely resister as Democrats in order to invalidate true voters (Just like Republicans registered as Hillary supporters in the Primary). As your mentor George Will said, "But surely the quality of the electoral turnout declines when the quantity is increased by "convenience voting." Meaning, lets make voting difficult for those we don't want to vote. And obfuscate those who truly do want to vote against "our" beliefs.

    Umm, sorry but once again your facts are incorrect, the payments stopped in May after the primaries. $832,598 was contributed by Obama's campaign during those primaries. As far as Republicans registering to vote as Democrats, I am sorry but don't see the relationship between that and registering someone 72 times and paying them with cigarettes to do so or registering dead people. Please explain how those are related. Believe me I don't condone that because that is how we ended up with a much less conservative presidential candidate than I voted for in the primaries.

    Nice slant CNN. She broke no law and there was no monetary ethics violation. You also didn't mention that she fired the guy because he wouldn't submit a department budget withing target and tried to go around the Governor. You have Ayers and Wright to explore but not a word. Instead you report on this insignificant politically motivated nonsense. I'm sorry I saw your headline this morning. Normally I don't even bother reading the trash coming out of MSNBC and CNN.     What disturbs me is the McCain Palin answer that Obama was somehow involved. Obama was no where around when this investigation started. How can we trust people who tell us something like this and expect us to believe it? I am an indeendent voter and I find that this insults my intelligence.

    Like I said before, Integrity is everything. These folks' personal integrity is horrible AND DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS. I cannot believe that almost half of the country would vote for people who incite and INSPIRE hatred, division, and abuse. AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIAN WOULD SIDE WITH HATRED THAT IS CALLING FOR KILLING SOMEONE.

    THAT IS WHY I SAY EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS = PHARISEES = HYPOCRITES.

    THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIANS AT ALL, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE.

    PEOPLE, HAVEN'T WE HAD ENOUGH OF ABUSE OF POWER AND CORRUPTION WITH BUSH, CHENEY, RUMSFELD, CONZALES, ROVE AND CREW???

    PEOPLE: Take a look at all that has been happening. To the true Christians, open your eyes and look at all of the things (that Obama has nothing to do with and has no control over) that has been happening. What we have been shown is without a doubt, we need to go in another direction if we want to save this country. Who is the person that should take us this way?

    The person who is divisive, who incites racism and hatred, who is irratic and hot tempered, and who shoots off at the mouth and makes enemies,

    or

    the person who inspires togetherness, who quoted scripture at least three times during the campaign (and who is a Christian, even though hateful people still call him Muslim), who actually stands for Christian principles in his own life, and who is showing that we should love everyone, whether they are Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, whatever!

    Again, Palin is corrupt herself. McCain is surrounded RIGHT NOW by all kinds of corrupt people.

       These are our fellow Americans who are the American Taliban, as well. 'They' are 'us'.

       The American Taliban believes they can say, do and think anything they want to achieve their goals, and that the ends justify the means. To date, those ends have been horrific for all concerned, and still no remorse for their actions.

       'Christianity' doesn't involve the washing away of 'sins' by the blood of Jesus, but rather the steps each of us must take to 'save' ourselves. It was never completed by another, nor could it be. The Secret Teachings are ancient, and involve our ability to transcend the planes of Thought that drag us down, and have kept us earthbound up to this time. As Spiritual Beings in human bodies, we yearn for release. Jesus' Teachings accomplished just that, and still we pretend we don't know the Work of a Life is our own.

       The Dimensions of Thought that have trapped us here are our own. It's time we accepted responsibility for them, and time we understood the Christ Consciousness is available to all, rather than a select few. It also involves Atonement; being at-one with our Highest Self by making our Victims whole, or as whole as possible before we harmed them, even if the only Victims of our thoughts, words and actions....... are ourselves.

       I suggest the Palins and the McCains get busy on that agenda, and leave the rest to a Higher Power.

    THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY KIND OF ADMISSION OF ANY WRONG DOING. THIS TYPE OF PERSON THINKS EVERYTHING SHE DOES IS OK. PEOPLE WITH HER SENSE OF RIGHT AND WRONG IS SO WARPED AND SO ENGRAINED IN HER MIND SHE CAN NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN RIGHT AND WRONG.
    THIS IS RIGHT BECAUSE I SAY IT IS RIGHT. THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR HAD TO START AT AN EARLY AGE AND WAS PROBABLY RE-ENFORCED BY EVERYONE AGREEING WITH HER AND NO ONE TELLING HER SHE WAS WRONG. WHEN YOU CAN STAND UP IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE AND TELL BALD FACE LIES ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE THEN YOU HAVE NO MORALS AND HAVE TO BE DEMENTED. IF THIS WOMAN EVER GETS TO BE PRESIDENT IN THE END SHE WOULD TRY AND DICTATE POLICY WITHOUT THE CONGRESS HAVING ANY SAY SO. IN OTHER WORDS WE WOULD HAVE A DICTATOR AS A LEADER.
