Alleged DC Madam Commits Suicide in Florida

Police say alleged DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey has committed suicide in Florida. Police were called to the home of Palfrey's mother on Thursday to investigate the suicide.

  3. Choice... prison? death? While I don't want to go to prison, death is a crappy alternative. Since she did not seem to come through with any names, I'm not sure who would want to do her in -- unless they thought she was going to try to lighten her term. hmmm.

  4. I'm going with Mulder....I mean Greg on this. I think someone was trying to make sure they didn't get exposed. From what they said this lady kept meticulous records.

This is from CBS News: "One of the escort service employees was former University of Maryland, Baltimore County, professor Brandy Britton, who was arrested on prostitution charges in 2006. She committed suicide in January before she was scheduled to go to trial. " So that's two down out of the same ring.
