regulargeek.com — Today I am writing about Twitter. I was going to write how Twitter would not gain mainstream acceptance. Then, I saw the article on Reuters regarding the earthquake near Washington, DC. I found out on Twitter before anywhere else.

    If you are looking for "breaking news" or information of that nature, twitter is purely awesome. It is instant information at its extreme, and highly addictive. It took me a long time to figure out, and it is hard to explain because there is no "one thing" to get.

    I signed up yesterday but am still a little perplexed about it, I haven't really given it my full attention due to GTA IV. I'll give it a proper try this weekend and see how I go.
