The Weather Channel’s $5 billion dollar sexual blunder

120 votes

A lawsuit was filed by ex-anchorwoman Hillary Andrews after repeated sexual harassment from co-anchor Bob Stokes. As TWC tries to sell it's Weather.com website & Weather channel for $5 billion dollars executives aim to keep this lawsuit a secret.

  1. The harassment became more heated when Stokes resorted to crude sexual remarks like, “Will you lick my swizzle stick?”

    LMFAO

    WTF???

webaddict, you have gone over the top with this one.

  2. @yoda Haha, thanks for the kudos Yoda. I have to admit, I LMFAOed too. Where does someone come up with a statement like that? Even though the guy was an ass, you have to give him the fact that he was creative and persistent.

  14. i ask also if sometimes Ms Andrew does not tease Mr Stokes not only by her speech or by her behavior in field of working.

  20. TBE OR NOT TBE THAT IS THE phUCKING QUESTION!

  21. Well, on this topic, I guess it depends somewhat on how much she was paid out and if this dude is still working? I would be more inclined to get him off the air, as he is a liability for the company at this point. I am sure if he gets replaced, another anchor can also be liked. Following someone in to their dressing room, nice move buddy, you only go there on invitation, and does not seem like he will get one of those from any women any time soon.

  22. Ummm, did this TBE guy created accounts for all his instances just to take part in this discussion?

Only admin can tell for sure :D

  23. thank God the tbes have shut up. He needs to be fired. This sounds like another movie deal. Ms. Andrews can be played by Megan Fox(Transformers) and of course Bob needs to be playing by Will Ferrell.

  24. Huh?

WTF is with the crappy comments?

  25. @webaddict @yoda
Last night on SNL, during the Weekend Update thing, they did a riff on this, where Seth came up with better sexual innuendos for the guy, based on his profession:

(these are paraphrases, based on my horrid memory)
    1. This just in, there's an upcoming area of high pressure...in my pants.
    2. There's an unusual warm front...under my desk.

Something like that. Damn, my memory is bad. Brain damage sucks.

You know what Jesus really wants? Jesus wants you to quit posting so many damn nonsense comments.

Thanks for letting me know about that. You know, the funny thing is I did a story on putting a dead man's hair on a live person's scalp and it went popular on a Thursday or Friday and Saturday Night Live did a skit on it. I believe they monitor the social networks for the funniest and most interesting stories and use them for skits. The dead man hair story is here: http://businessshrink.biz/psychologyofbusiness/2007/10/12/dead-man-walking-what-length-would-you-go-to-for-a-full-head-of-hair/

If anyone else wants to watch the Saturday Night Live skit talking about the Weather story and cracking jokes you can watching it here on NBC: http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/play.shtml?mea=250055

    Thanks again Honest Ape. :D

Be honest, Amy Poehler reads your mixx entries.. That's the real secret.
    :)

I can't believe I forgot those. Boner advisory and 40% chance of ding-dongs in Amy-Town! Too fucking funny.

  29. @Honest_Ape Actually Honest, the story went popular on Digg too. The story on the blog had around 40,000 uniques so it was close to going mainstream. So although I won't admit Amy Poehler reads my mixx entries, I know that the writers for the SNL and Jay Leno show monitor social news networks for sifting out the best stories to make their jobs easier. :D

  30. “Will you lick my swizzle stick?” lmao, this guy will never reproduce sorry.

  31. @SallyD and that's the best NEWS i've heard all day...

    that is just so un-clever.
