    Christians SHOULD keep their promises, and Christians SHOULD know when they're wrong, and admit it.

    @SallyD thanks. you are a newcomer, maybe, but these kinds of posts are not uncommon and no rules have been broken.

    jansie needs to fill the rest of us in as to what the story is, out of respect. if he removes this, it is very disrespectful to me and a lot of other people.

    @jansie if you delete this, then you will not have posted it in the eyes of 99.9% of the Mixxers, that's how. a post on Mixx does not ever go away.

    i really thought you were a special guy, jansie, i really liked you. but if you delete this without even explaining yourself, it's hard to see you as my friend.

  27. @deege well, basically, i told yoda that if he opened a twitter account, i'd post it to mixx, and share it. my post to mixx was seen as spam by some, and i asked them to remove it.

    yoda opening a twitter account is the same as the pope doing the boston marathon (in my country the comrades). it just doesn't happen. well, that's what i thought.

    @deege oh, jansie kept asking me to join, and other mixxers did too, over the past couple of months, and finally, jansie said that he'd post it here if i did, and i really should, so i did go active on twitter. and he posted this.

    Well fwiw I don't see it as spam ... if others do they can bypass it or vote it down ... its all about choice and opinion and everyone has one.

    If this is viewed as spam ... then so are all the other posts on here linked to personal blogs and such.

    I think it's been overlooked that this was just something humorous between friends .. and theres nothing wrong with that.

    Unless I am completely misunderstanding this myself and in that case .. in the famous words of Emily Littella ... "Nevermind"

  37. @jansie @yoda I think I only would have been upset if this was flagged as 'Breaking*, but otherwise as it stand now, I would have either just ignored it or voted it down and moved on. I necessarily don't see this as spam, just poor content submission. The better option would to have been to blog about how you got @yoda to finally join twitter after blah,blah,blah,blah.. and then submit your blog entry. A direct link to someone's user account on another site is just asking to be called shenanigans.

    In any case, I'm gonna start following you on twitter now. Thanks for the heads up @jansie.

    I've seen people post articles on this or that minor thing that's only relevant to 10 or less people. This seems like a perfectly valid post. If any are accusing of spam or abuse, I think it's their problem. I thought it was funny, especially the title. Why is this shit getting taken so seriously? It's a social news site, and this is as social a post as any.
    Consider me mystified. Like Yoda, I think pulling this would be wrong.
