Delegates from Michigan, Florida may be seated after all

A scenario is brewing that could put Hillary Clinton right back in the thick of the Democratic primaries. Florida's Democratic congressional delegation is growing more hopeful that the state's delegation will be seated at the DNC.

That is the most perceptive insight I've seen about this in a very long time. I actually predicted several months ago that this thing may not even be settled by November, and I wouldn't be totally shocked if the Bush-Cheney administration stayed in office for several months in either an extension of a second term - or a third term - depending on how you look at it.

Why should she quit though? It is her job as a candidate to run the best campaign she can. In my opinion, all this talk of pressure for her to quit (not to mention the disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan voters) will do far more damage to the party's chances in November than would her fighting to the finish and everyone else acting like mature adults.

It really gets my goat that Hillary is being blamed for the negative consequences a grueling campaign has on the party instead of Howard Dean. Howard Dean has been worse than incompetent as head of the DNC, and it was his decision to disenfranchise the voters of two states that may ultimately doom this campaign to be settled in the courtroom.

Hillary is doing what she's supposed to do in a democracy - offer the voters a chance to decide the candidate. Why should she quit? Several states haven't even voted yet.

Howard Dead should resign immediately for the damage his incompetence has done to the party. It is time Democratic Party leaders and liberal pundits (the mainstream media) to start placing the blame where it belongs, and giving credit where due to a woman who has run an honorable and historic campaign.

She's going all the way--scorched earth. She has nothing to lose---the Clintons are set for life. I predict that if the Super Delegates and Delegates don't go her way--she will litigate to obtain the nomination. I think she just might prevail.

The MSM has gone hysterical in requesting that she drop out when there is NO current winner. I agree with you--why should she'?

Warts and all, she is heads and tails more experienced and qualified than Obama. Nevertheless, Howard Dean is in no position to dictate the terms and surrender of yet to be determined Democratic nominee.

Although Obama is a clever and deceitful politician--he has just about no experience. The polls show he has no chance of beating McCain in the general election.

Let the race continue. Let the pundits shut-up.
