  1. Although I know most of my fellow liberals disagree with this, I actually think missile defense could be a good thing. I imagine a world where ballistic missiles are rendered useless because they would be useless. While it wouldn't remove the nuclear threat entirely, it would lower the chances of nuclear war.

  2. Sadly, they have only provoked Russia to officially start nuclear modernization and an additional strategic missile placement much closer to Europe.
