   Oh my gosh! I can't believe this - but it's also not TOO surprising. Pownce always did seem to be the less-popular version of Twitter, etc.

      @McCaffertyHimself not really in the software industry. but still, it would appear that they viewed them as a competitor. i'm sure they will redo something about the same

   Leah Culver has hinted at a new service with SixApart in the New Year. We'll see, but I'll be sorry to lose Pownce too.
