   Well, this is an odd story. I'm going to show my international ignorance here by admitting that I thought Belgium was primarily a French-speaking nation. And I certainly had no idea they actually had legislation against speaking French in certain areas of the country. That's a bit much, don't you think? (Please correct me if I misunderstood this...)

      @kat136 - There have been a long "conflict" between the Flemish and french communities, as all disputes its complex and up to recently there has been a certain fear of civil war. I am not so familiar with the situation in Belgium, but as you can read from the article its a pretty tough tone,
