geekparenting.com — Apparently, both Consumer Reports and the Attorney General of Illinois have found that the Fisher-Price blood pressure cuff toy has 7 to 9 times the legal limit of lead in it. Fisher-Price recalled it... but only in Illinois!

  1. That's horrible -- I emailed it to Fischer Price... these evil toy makers need to be accountable for children getting sick from their products. I even think this stupid thing is at my kid's kindergarten class. I have to check it out today. Ugh.

  5. @polymath22 I've noticed that, too, especially on Christmas tree lights (which should NOT be handled by children or pregnant women, either).
