      @dotlizard i thought they had an API? no? i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they let people play around with it somewhat.

   Pandora's recommendation engine is much better than Last.fm's . I think Pandora would dominate if they worked more on the social networking component.

      @rageagainsttherobots i think Pandora is a US only site. last.fm seems to work worldwide at good speeds.

      You could use proxies or whatever, but it's too much trouble to bother with :) I like the social aspect of last.fm. I like friending people there with dissimilar taste in music so that I can find new stuff to listen to . And I like when bands I haven't heard of message me and I can tune into new stuff. Pandora doesn't give me that.
