yeah, it's great and all that. maybe they will find a bunch of valuable, rare minerals or something to mine up there...now that could be great...AND useful.

Young suns still lie within dusty NGC 7129, some 3,000 light-years away. While these stars are at a relatively tender age, only about a million years old, it is likely that our own Sun formed in a similar stellar nursery some five billion years ago.

Particles of Martian soil stick to the magnetic surface of NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander's optical microscope in an image sent back from the red planet. The tiny fragments, among the larger grains of orange soil, are each about one-tenth of a millimeter.
