Do you know what the New York Times, the World Bank, Wordpress.com, PHP.net and others have in common? Their URLs suck!

  2. Well, not really. This is an exception as Mixx has so many submissions that it's needs a 6 digit number. Indeed a combination of number and descriptive URL is best,
    http://www.mixx.com/789909/top-10-url-design-failures-of-famous-websites
    would be perfect.
