  3. Wow. This article is really a good one. The issue of availability of the means increasing the rate of suicide is a great issue that is not discussed enough. I hate to be morose, but if I had a handgun, I'm pretty sure I'd be dead today. I'm not suicidal anymore, but there were times that I would likely have used something readily available and easy like a handgun to do the deed. I realize you can't simplify things that easily. It's not just an available means, but it can certainly turn the tide, and is something that should be considered more often in such discussions.

  4. @Honest_Ape Sorry about the confusion I don't know how I screwed that up. But yeah glad you liked the article, after I finished it I have to say I was impressed, I have never heard of any studies regarding impulsive suicide.
    I don't have the best record of mental health, which is why I don't like to walk across bridges and don't own a hand gun. Especially after my divorce. How people survive and function in this world after a divorce is beyond me.
