      Some believe they already did, and have.... its called religion, traditon, ancient beliefs , a belif in a higher being or superior entity or entityes, lores whatever.....Evidence of it is seen clearly from outer space....
      If you wish read "The Chariot of the Gods" by this German author, still an active research today.... This theory is interestingly presented by him and followers...... A read that trust me, you wont be bored ..... :-)
