  2. When someone like Al Gore has made over $100,000,000.00 pushing something, you can believe it is bs. There has always been good science against global warming, and now it seems thery were right. How do we ever believe anything these people say anymore? Considering the money this has cost all of us I think some of these people should go to jail.
Cap & trade better be just a memory and no further talks on it, except to tell it bye, bye.

The first really successful political campaign of this movement was the banning of DDT in 1972.

William Ruckelshaus had just been appointed Director of the Environmental Protection Agency and he went on a Jihad against DDT. He appointed about 2 dozen scientists who worked for about a year to organize all the facts and to make their recommendations. The decision amongst the scientists was unanimous... All opposed it being banned. Ruckelshaus banned it anyways and, to this day, says his decision was "good science". The chair of the scientific committee was an entomologist named "Dr. G. Gordon Edwards". Dr. Edwards passed away about 5 years ago but I know that the transcripts of his committee meetings survive. Hopefully they will start getting more attention some day.

So, in a way, I really don't blame the scientists in this case. They know that if they don't tell their funding sources things their funding sources want to hear then they are going to lose their research grants.
