news.discovery.com — The conclusions of the newly-released Copenhagen Diagnosis report - that climate change is proceeding more rapidly, and its effects are being felt more dramatically, than models had predicted - is not news to anyone who has been tracking the issue closely

  2. This is the world's foremost issue, and we all seem to be very passive about it.

I mean that we can not just pack up,and move like we do here on earth.

    2. @cmcgill I don't know that we're all passive. I do think we're not nearly as focused on research as we are on observation.

  3. Who's models are they refering to? This whole belief system is a hoax. Global warming is slight if existent at all. There simply are no proven correlations between man made emissions, and climate change. The studies, most of this nonsense is based on, are bogus. The "climate models" on which some of this research is based, are manipulated. There is no truth and or fact in it, except that which, these liars proffer.

Well my friend I can tell you from personal life experiences that this global warming that you call a hoax, is in fact for real. For example,
I was born in St. Johns , Newfoundland in 1962 and remained in Newfoundland until 1975. During those 13 and 1/2 years, during this time period, it did not rain during the winter. Jumping ahead between 5 and 7 years later, which would put it in the mid 1980s range. I started hearing reports from back home of it raining in January. And thi... View more

I have also been up in the Boaford sea, where I have personally witnessed bizarre weather changes due to climate change.

      1. @FAFAF Climate change is just that. It always has and always will change. Kinda the history of the planet. When I was younger there were several days of summer when the temperature exceeded 100 degrees, not so here anymore, so much as to what we have personally witnessed. Look at the studies. All I ask is just an ounce of scepticism, and you will dismiss them for what they are, BS.

There is a difference between natural change, and man made change.
This planet was desigined by the greatest architect who ever existed (God),and when he designed it he put in place everything that it needed to controll it.
He place trees, and plants to filter, and clean the air and water.
He put in place vents for the earth to release excees heat.
Then he puts us here and we screw it all up with our stupid ideologies, and industrialize ways.
          Clarence

          1. @FAFAF The point is, that man-made change is not documented by any definitive factual information.

          2. @tippyskier
You do not need numbers to see how screwed up the weather systems are.
All you have to do is look out your window, and watch the global weather forcasts.
            Clarence

            • (0 Kudos received)
          3. @FAFAF I have not observed what you call screwed up weather systems. Looks to be pretty much the same pattern that has existed. Are there anomalies? of course, but those too have always been around. If you base your beliefs on your own obsevations, then your observations will only serve your beliefs.

          4. @tippyskier
Then you need to do some research.
Study jet stream paterns for the past 60 years.
Paplation growth for the same time periods, and finanilly how jet streams work.
            Clarence

          5. @FAFAF If you are basing your opinion on jet streams and paplation, I assume you mean population, then you are a far cry from any definitive answer. Have you ever seen how they "model" climate, and predict their future changes?

            • (0 Kudos received)
          6. @tippyskier When the seasons change down here the last two years here in Florida, we have gone from record heat to record cole and back. And vice versa.

          7. @tippyskier
Okay give me until tommorow, and I will do some reach, and get you some facts that will give you a deffinate answer.
And thank you I did mean population.

          8. @TheDudeDean Personal observation is a tool. But in the context of the world you are observing such a very small part. You must assume your little part is representative of the whole, ain't necessarily so..

            • (0 Kudos received)
          9. @FAFAF Good luck with that, please use an ounce of scepticism. Do not go in with the idea of proving me wrong, go with the idea of proving yourself right.

Here are the workings of the jet stream:

We are going to get off of earth, but not in a good way.
Well i guess that it is all in the way that you look at it.
As for things getting really bad on earth.Well you have no idea how bad things are going to get.
