Bob Sutor, IBM's vice president of open source and standards says that industry will regard OOXML as a dead end, and that will force Microsoft to accept ODF. Microsoft recently decided to support ODF in Office which may lead to Microsoft embracing ODF.

Oasis have unveiled the tracklisting for their forthcoming album, 'Dig Out Your Soul'. The album, the follow-up to 2005's 'Don't Believe The Truth', is due out October 6 on the band's own label Big Brother.

Noel Gallagher, from the band Oasis, has commented that he will not allow music fans to choose their own price for the new album (like Radiohead did with In Rainbow), as it has cost too much money to make.

Mount Abu is the highest peak in the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan state in western India. It is located in Sirohi district. The mountain forms a distinct rocky plateau 22km long by 9 km wide. The highest peak on the mountain is Guru Shikhar, at 1722 meters
